For price, shelf and small product labels the GoDEX DT2x is the usual answer: 2-inch direct thermal, no ribbon to buy, and it fits beside a register. If you also print 4-inch product or shipping labels, step up to the G500 or the DT4x. All of them connect by USB or Ethernet and print from Shopify POS, Square, Lightspeed and Clover.
Yes. Every GoDEX printer we sell renders QR codes, GS1 DataBar, UPC and Code 128 at 203 dpi, and at 300 dpi if the code has to be small. For produce and deli shelf labels we normally pair a 300 dpi printer with a 2 x 1 or 3 x 1 direct thermal stock.
Use a removable adhesive. Our 4 x 6 removable thermal transfer stock lifts cleanly from packaging, glass and finished goods without residue, which makes it the right choice for markdowns, seasonal promotions and anything applied over existing artwork.
